Greek Week in Podkylava
On 11 - 15 June 2014 the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra organized for the second time the INTERNATIONAL GREEN WEEK for MBA students from the international AGRIMBA network. There participated 27 MBA students from Warsaw, Nitra and Kiev, who under the guidance of prof. Bruce Ahrendsen from the University of Arkansas, USA, dealt with case studies in two selected companies: PVOD Kočín and Ekotrend Myjava, Ltd.
Rectors of six universities appointed by the President
Rectors of six Slovak universities were appointed on May 26 at the Presidential Palace in Bratislava by the President of the Slovak Republic Ivan Gašparovič. Three of them carried this position before, other three universities will have a new rector.
Rector of SUA presented examples of good practice in Stuttgart
SUA Rector, prof. Peter Bielik represented the Slovak University of Agriculture at a meeting called First Eastern European Innovation Partnership High-Level Meeting, organized by Steinbeis Europa Zentrum.
VUA representatives in Brussels
On April 28 - 29, top representatives of Visegrad University Association universities visited EU directorates in Brussels to discuss possibilities of cooperation. We are glad that 21 partners from 8 countries representing 13 universities and institution participated in the event that offered new topics for discussion, exchange of knowledge and information.
European University in Kyiv is interested in cooperation with SUA
From the initiative of the Director of Eastern European Development Agency n.o. Dr.h.c.JUDr. Jozef Zaťko, Dr. Ivanna V. Iedgarova, Affairs Rectorial Councillor of the European University (EU) in Kyiv visited the SUA on April 2, 2014. The guests were welcomed by SUA Rector, Dr.h.c.prof.Ing.Peter Bielik, PhD.
