Exchanging experience, strengthening mutual ties and cooperation in the field of technology transfer and intellectual property was the goal of the TT Connections event, which took place on September 5 at the cultural and community center Hidepark Nitra.
An informal meeting of scientific research workers and doctoral students of SUA was held in cooperation with the Center for Scientific and Technical Information within the national project NITT SK II. The project supported by the Integrated Infrastructure Operational Program is aimed at ensuring systematic support for public science and research workplaces in the field of applying knowledge gained through research and development activities to economic and social practice.
At the beginning, a discussion panel was held on the topic of the SUA Innovation Ecosystem and the strengthening of technology transfer at the university. The discussants were: Director of the Office of Project and Transfer Activities Danka Moravčíková, Director of RC AgroBioTech Lucia Gabríny, Professor Adriana Kolesárová (FBFS) and Dr. Michal Hrivnák (FESRD). This was followed by informal face-to-face debates between university scientists and managers of the AgroBioTech Research Center, the EIT food hub and the SUA Project and Transfer Activities Office. The debates were accompanied by pleasant music and a barbecue.
TT Connections is a concept of an informal platform for strengthening competences in the field of intellectual property and technology transfer or creating collaborations in science and research that can lead to the emergence of commercializable research results.
