SUA has four new professors

On September 13, the President of the SR Zuzana Čaputová appointed 48 new university professors. Among the newly appointed are two male and female professors working at the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra.
Professor Tatiana Bojňanská from the Institute of Food Science, Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences, in the field of agricultural product processing, professor Nora Polláková in the field of agrochemistry and plant nutrition, professor Miroslav Habán in the field of special plant production, both from the Institute of Agronomic Sciences, Faculty of Agrobiology and Food Resources, and Professor Drahoslav Lančarič from the Institute of Economic Policy and Finance, Faculty of Economics and Management, in the field of sectoral and cross-sectional economics.
In her address to the appointed professors, the president emphasized that this title represents a reward for their long-term efforts, professional growth and represents the pinnacle of their academic career.
"The quality of your contribution to the development of education will be evaluated not only by how many graduates, doctoral students and associate professors you educate, but also by what quality teaching texts you write for your students, what lectures you use to educate and inspire them, but most importantly, what demands you make towards them" she addressed to the new university professors.
Z. Čaputová also emphasized that the academic environment could achieve better results with efforts and social support to become the result of a well-thought-out system and collective work, not just individuals.
